The legendary Habs have got it right. Jaques Martin is an excellent choice for the head coaching position with the Montreal Canadiens. Mr. Martin has a history of turning around young organizations and adding much needed discipline to this team which has had a somewhat dissapointing season.
The 2008-2009 season was supposed to be one of great expectations in the 100th anniversary of the team, but for some reason, the Canadiens slipped in the ranks after the All-Star break. Guy Carboneau was fired and Bob Gainey took over but the Canadiens were swept in the first round by the now mighty Boston Bruins.
